**Job Overview**

Northern Arizona Health is seeking an experienced Clinical Informatics Specialist to join our team. As a Clinical Informatics Specialist, you will play a key role in optimizing the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) and related technologies to improve clinical workflows and patient care.

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze complex clinical operations, organizational structures, and care processes to facilitate decision making regarding EMR design and workflow.
  • Gains the support and consensus of physician leadership and regarding information technology needs and priorities and represents these needs in strategic planning.
  • Collaborates with physicians and staff to optimize the usage of clinical systems through education, training, quality outcomes and provides support for those systems.
  • Promotes evidence-based and efficient practices utilizing technology to support and advance provider workflow.

Requirements:

  • Minimum three years of clinical experience required.
  • Minimum three years experience with, understanding of, and working knowledge of EMR workflows and ability to analyze processes required.
  • Excellent communication and people skills and skilled in process management and management of group dynamics required.

The estimated salary for this position is $120,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on experience.
