Job Description:

Job Summary: We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Travel Nurse RN PCU Progressive Care Unit to provide exceptional patient care in our Tacoma, Washington location. As a PCU RN, you will work closely with our interdisciplinary team to deliver personalized care to patients with complex medical needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing procedures, and monitoring vital signs.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical and emotional needs, identifying areas for improvement and implementing interventions as needed.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.

Requirements:

  • Current RN licensure in the state of Washington.
  • 1-2 years of recent acute care experience, preferably in a PCU setting.
  • ACLS and BLS certifications.
  • Ability to work 12-hour shifts, including nights and weekends.
