Job Title: Pediatric Critical Care Travel Nurse RN

Job Summary:

Cynet Health is seeking a highly skilled Pediatric Critical Care Travel Nurse RN to join our team. As a Pediatric Critical Care Travel Nurse RN, you will provide high-quality care to critically ill patients in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality care to critically ill patients, including those with injury, respiratory failure, shock, multi-system failure, poisonings, near drowning, meningitis, post-op cardiac surgical care, neurosurgery trauma, hem onc, and DKA with PH or altered consciousness.
  • Work variable or straight night shifts with weekend rotations.
  • Commit to working 2 out of the 3 major holidays during the contract.
  • Available for a maximum of 6 requested days off, ensuring 3 scheduled shifts per week.
  • Participate in a 12-hour orientation.
  • Complete non-billable modules prior to the start, which may take 6-8 hours to complete.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 full recent years of Pediatric ICU experience (PICU, CTICU, Critical Care Float Pool), with ventilators, trachs, and multiple monitoring skills, specifically CVP and EKG.
  • CA License required.
  • BLS, PALS certifications.
  • Pediatric ICU experience required.
  • Flu shot compliance when requested.
  • Experience with a 15-bed minimum and higher acuity of care across all PICU/ICU areas.
  • Flexible with scheduling and willing to float to other units outside of critical care units, including ED.
  • Willing to work with all age ranges and levels of acuity.
