Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Facility Systems Technician III to join our team at Mercy. This is a critical role that requires advanced knowledge of boiler, HVAC, refrigeration, electrical distribution, control system maintenance and operation, plumbing, electricity, carpentry, and painting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Resolve repair issues independently with little to no supervision.
  • Support small and midsize hospitals, critical access hospitals, small inpatient/outpatient facilities, and clinics.
  • Operate, maintain, and repair various electrical/plumbing systems, movable equipment, physical plant equipment, furniture, walls, ceilings, and floors.
  • Utilize exceptional customer service and communication skills.
  • Ensure a safe working environment and support an exceptional Environment of Care for Mercy.
Requirements
  • Valid Driver's License for all Mercy locations.
  • Mercy Arkansas Hospitals require High Pressure Boiler Operators License administered by Arkansas Dept. of Labor and Licensing where boilers are installed.
  • Mercy Hospital OKC requires Class III Boiler Operator's License administered by Oklahoma Dept. of Labor where boilers are installed.
  • Class C Tank Operator Training and Certification required for all Mercy locations.
  • EPA Universal Certification as required by 40CFR, Part 82, Subpart F for all Mercy locations.
  • Fire door maintenance training program with certificate of completion.
  • UL fire stop training with certificate of completion.
Preferred Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • 2 or more years of training in a Technical or Vocational School.
  • Boiler, HVAC, or Refrigeration licensure.
  • 5 or more years working in a facility maintenance position within a healthcare environment.
  • ASSE 6040 training for medical gas maintenance.
