Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Pharmacist to join our team at Walmart. As a Staff Pharmacist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care, ensuring the accuracy and safety of medication dispensing, and promoting a positive and supportive work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process and accurately dispense prescription orders, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Counsel patients regarding health care and prescription medication needs, providing clear and concise information.
  • Maintain confidential information and documentation, adhering to HIPAA guidelines and company standards.
  • Administer immunizations and other programs developed by Walmart, in compliance with Board of Pharmacy statutes/regulations.
  • Model and provide guidance to pharmacy staff on proper customer service approaches and techniques.
  • Participate in quality assurance reviews and implement action plans to improve patient care and safety.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy or PharmD degree, or equivalent FPGE (NABP).
  • Pharmacy license (by job entry date).
  • Completion of an ACPE Accredited Immunization training program (for example, APhA, Pharmacy School Curriculum, State Pharmacy Association sponsored).

Benefits

Walmart offers a competitive salary range of $98,000.00-$172,000.00, annual or quarterly performance bonuses, and a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, vision, and dental coverage, 401(k), stock purchase, and company-paid life insurance.

Additionally, you will receive PTO and/or PPTO that can be used for vacation, sick leave, holidays, or other purposes. The amount you receive depends on your job classification and length of employment.
