Job Title: Peer Recovery Specialist

Santé Group Inc is seeking a compassionate and experienced Peer Recovery Specialist to join our Mobile Response Team in Sykesville, MD.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled and empathetic individual to provide mobile crisis services, including peer assessments, crisis intervention techniques, and stabilization. As a Peer Recovery Specialist, you will serve as the on-site resource for clinical information and partner with families, friends, and community providers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide peer support to consumers and families
  • Perform on-scene assessments, including danger, suicide, and environmental assessments
  • Perform crisis intervention and stabilization, including de-escalation, crisis planning, and implementation
  • Create referral recommendations and develop treatment plans using available agency and community resources
  • Partner with local law enforcement and other community providers
  • Complete documentation in a thorough and timely manner
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent and at least two (2) years of related experience
  • Peer Recovery Specialist Certification (CPRS) or willingness to be certified within a one (1) year of employment
  • At least two (2) years in full recovery AND three (3) years of lived experience with mental illness, substance abuse, or a co-occurring disorder
  • Valid driver's license and proof of current automobile insurance
