Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Data Engineer to join our Enterprise Data and Analytics team at Lennar. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing our next-generation data and analytics platforms and products using data engineering best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, build, and operationalize data engineering solutions for Lennar's data and analytics platforms and products.
  • Architect and implement ETL, ELT, and streaming data ingestion and delivery processes across multiple sources.
  • Instrument data analytics platforms with robust metrics and monitoring.
  • Improve data ingestion architecture, emphasizing data quality, maintainability, and extensibility.
  • Support process improvement on the team to enable rapid development of data products.

Requirements:

  • Expertise in data architecture design, data modeling, and data warehousing concepts.
  • Strong experience with AWS platform, including S3, EC2, EMR, EKS, Glue, Lambda, AppFlow, and CloudWatch.
  • Experience with Snowflake Data Cloud, including data sharing, time travel, and zero-copy cloning.
  • Proficient in languages such as SQL and Python.
  • Familiarity with orchestration and scheduling tools, such as Prefect and Airflow.
