Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Sustainability Engineer to join our team at ClearpointCo. In this role, you will support the Facilities Engineering Team in ensuring compliance with environmental regulations.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have a strong background in design and construction, with experience in managing projects from concept to completion.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Create detailed designs and specifications for facility modifications, ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with operations and maintenance personnel to identify and implement process improvements.
  • Develop cost estimates, execution plans, and AFE documents for project approvals.
  • Work closely with third-party engineering firms to develop construction drawings and RFQ packages.
  • Ensure management of change approvals are identified, coordinated, and approved as required.
  • Conduct walk-downs to identify potential process changes or improvements.
  • Coordinate pre-start-up safety reviews to ensure a smooth handover to operations.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • At least 7 years of experience in design and construction, preferably in the oil and gas industry.
  • A strong understanding of surface equipment, process conditions, and safety systems.
  • Proficiency in computer skills, including MS TEAMS, Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Experience with modelling software such as Aspen Hysys, ProMax, and PipeSim is desired.
  • Familiarity with related industry codes and standards applicable to upstream oil and gas operations in TX and NM is desirable.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is highly regarded.

Able to travel to field locations in Texas and New Mexico on a regular basis, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to evaluate and execute projects.
