Job Summary

The Vice President, Value-Based Reimbursement and Strategic Sourcing will lead the development and execution of an enterprise-wide value-based reimbursement strategy to improve member health and quality outcomes. This role will oversee the development and management of vendor relationships, contract negotiations, and vendor management programs to ensure alignment with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive value-based reimbursement strategy to drive cost savings and quality improvements
  • Manage vendor relationships, including contract negotiations and vendor performance management
  • Oversee the development and implementation of vendor management programs to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements and cost savings initiatives
  • Provide leadership and guidance to staff on value-based reimbursement and vendor management best practices
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in business or related field; Master's degree preferred
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in value-based reimbursement or value-based care program management
  • Minimum 5 years of senior leadership experience with responsibility for developing and implementing strategies and plans
  • Experience negotiating large/complex external vendor and provider contracts

Working Conditions

Compensation Range

$150,000-$300,000

CareSource takes into consideration a combination of a candidate's education, training, and experience as well as the position's scope and complexity, the discretion and latitude required for the role, and other external and internal data when establishing a salary level.
