Job Overview

This position will report directly to the AVP of Regulatory Reporting and will be pivotal in managing essential regulatory computations and reporting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct Customer/PAB Reserve Computations (15c3-3) with precision.
  • Generate Net Capital (15c3-1) and FOCUS reports accurately.
  • Prepare daily and monthly reports to support both regulatory and accounting functions.
  • Assist in internal and external audits as well as regulatory reviews.
  • Work collaboratively with various departments to resolve discrepancies and compute critical components for financial statements and regulatory submissions.
  • Execute general accounting tasks for the broker-dealer, including reconciliations, journal entries, and allocations.
  • Address ad hoc requests as necessary.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of two years of experience in the financial services sector is preferred.
  • Possession of FINRA SIE & Series 99 or the ability to obtain them within one year.
  • Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Capability to evaluate processes and enhance procedural efficiency.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, fostering effective collaboration across teams.
  • High proficiency in MS Excel and Word, with a readiness to learn new software tools.
