Job Summary:

Baptist Health is seeking a highly skilled Pharmacist to join our team in Lexington, KY. As a Pharmacist at Baptist Health, you will play a critical role in providing pharmaceutical services to patients across the continuum of care. Your expertise will be essential in ensuring the safe and effective use of medications, and you will work closely with our healthcare team to provide exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate drug distribution in accordance with scope of practice, policies, and procedures.
  • Interpret, review, and fill all medication orders received during assigned shifts.
  • Check for appropriate dose, allergies, therapeutic duplications, and contraindications.
  • Respond to drug-related questions and provide accurate information to nursing personnel and prescribers.
  • Maintain a patient-centered approach and prioritize patient care.

Requirements:
  • Pharm.D. with an ASHP residency preferred.
  • Current Kentucky Pharmacist License.
