About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Associate Project Manager to join our team at Kinetics. As a key member of our project management team, you will be responsible for supporting the Project Manager or Operations Manager on various projects, including representing the company on project sites, providing overall management support, and developing new business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure the safety, quality, and overall success of mechanical projects, including construction, installation, and commissioning.
  • Promote customer satisfaction by instilling a customer-centric philosophy in all project team members.
  • Meet or exceed financial goals, including financial forecasting, manpower forecasting, cash flow, direct job cost, invoicing, and contract management.
  • Administer projects by determining overall requirements and planning accordingly to ensure proper staff is obtained from within the company.
  • Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, including craft employees, company personnel, and customers.
Requirements
  • Basic knowledge of the mechanical construction business (MEP), including estimating, scheduling, and cost control.
  • Experience running commercial construction projects with a minimum value of $2 million.
  • Experience with construction projects in the semiconductor and/or pharmaceutical industries is a plus.
  • Process Piping experience is a plus.
  • General knowledge of code requirements and ability to read blueprints and legal documents.
  • Budget preparation, risk analysis, team building, negotiation skills, time management, and computer skills in word processing and spreadsheets.
  • Ability to interface with diverse types of people and basic understanding of addressing issues with cross-functional disciplines within an organization.
Working Conditions
  • Works inside corporate office, branch, satellite, or job site office(s) when required to perform assigned tasks.
Physical Requirements
  • This job requires long periods of sitting in an office and job site administrative setting, as well as physical presence on active construction sites, where activities like walking, climbing, squatting, kneeling, and other physical tasks may be necessary.
