Role Responsibilities

  • Facilitate patients in following their designated exercise routines.
  • Utilize your academic background in a practical healthcare context.
  • Gain insights into working with an outpatient orthopedic demographic.
  • Engage with a variety of post-operative orthopedic cases.
  • Ensure cleanliness and maintenance of treatment tables.
  • Manage laundry duties as required.
  • Comply with all HIPAA and OSHA regulations and relevant laws.
  • Follow company protocols and participate in orientations and meetings as necessary.
  • Assist with patient flow under the guidance of licensed professionals.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
  • Strong communication skills with patients, colleagues, and the public.
  • Capability to stand for extended periods; squatting and stooping may be necessary.
  • Preference for students enrolled in Physical Therapy or Physical Therapist Assistant programs.
  • Ability to handle heavy equipment and assist in lifting or moving patients, with a capacity to lift up to 100 pounds.
