At Parachute, we're redefining the plasma donation experience with a tech-forward approach that's easier, friendlier, and more convenient. As a Practical Nurse, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our donors while contributing to the creation of life-saving medicine.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Educate donors on the plasmapheresis process and ensure their safety and comfort throughout the donation process.
  • Evaluate donors' medical histories and perform physical examinations to determine their suitability for donation.
  • Counsel donors on deferrals due to test results or other health reasons.
  • Attend to major reactions and evaluate donor injuries, maintaining a safe and clean environment.
  • Collaborate with the Quality Manager and Center Manager to ensure staff adherence to universal precautions and personal protective equipment protocols.
Requirements:
  • Current certification/licensure as a Registered Nurse, Licensed Practical Nurse, Advanced Emergency Medical Technician, or equivalent.
  • Current CPR Certification.
  • Minimum of six (6) months of experience in a GMP environment with plasma or whole blood experience preferred.
