Children's Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) is a world-renowned leader in pediatric care, and we're seeking a talented Emergency Department Pediatrician to join our team. As a key member of our ED team, you'll provide exceptional patient care, collaborate with colleagues, and contribute to the advancement of pediatric medicine.

Key Responsibilities

  • Direct patient care to a panel of patients, ensuring high-quality, patient-centered care.
  • Supervise clinical providers, including resident physicians and nurse practitioners, and provide performance feedback.
  • Continuously review current pediatric standards of care and implement new processes as needed.
  • Participate in educational activities, such as supporting resident/medical student education and curriculum implementation.
  • Contribute to research activities, as needed, and provide feedback and consultation for studies.

Requirements

  • Doctorate in Medicine (MD) or Osteopathic Medicine (DO) required.
  • Working knowledge of hospital policies, practices, and protocols, as well as applicable regulations and guidelines.
  • Excellent communication skills, including written, verbal, and electronic communication.
  • Medical License in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and any states practicing in, upon hire.
  • Board Certification in Medical Sub/Specialty, upon hire.
  • DEA License, upon hire.
