Key Responsibilities
Your duties will include:

  • Thoroughly cleaning and sanitizing guest rooms, public areas, and restrooms
  • Emptying waste receptacles and transporting waste to disposal areas
  • Replenishing supplies as needed
  • Conducting inspections of assigned areas to ensure compliance with cleanliness standards
  • Maintaining organized linen rooms and workspaces
  • Occasionally interacting with guests while performing cleaning duties
  • Reporting maintenance issues to the supervisor
  • Logging and turning in lost and found items daily

Qualifications
Ideal candidates will possess:

  • Previous experience in housekeeping, preferably in a hotel environment
  • Familiarity with cleaning equipment and supplies
  • The ability to work efficiently under pressure and follow instructions
  • Basic math skills for simple calculations
  • No formal education requirements

Physical Requirements
This role involves frequent standing, walking, climbing stairs, bending, and lifting up to 50 pounds. Visual acuity is necessary to ensure cleanliness standards are met.

Shift Details
This position may require day shifts, on-call availability, and working on weekends and holidays as needed.
