Job Summary

The Staff Respiratory Therapist performs under the supervision of physician orders all respiratory care and critical care functions. This position requires previous Neonatal/NICU/Transport experience for our Angel II Transport truck.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality respiratory care to patients in the NICU and transport settings.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Operate and maintain respiratory equipment, including ventilators and oxygen therapy devices.
  • Monitor patient vital signs and respond to changes in condition.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care transitions.

Requirements

  • A.S. Degree in Respiratory Care
  • Registered Therapist credentials by the National Board of Respiratory Therapy
  • Licensed by the State of Georgia
  • Computer literacy applications such as Word, Excel, etc.
  • Critical Thinking Skills and the ability to communicate with different care providers.
  • Must have current BLS certification.
