Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapist to join our team at Grady Health System. As a Physical Therapist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and developing treatment plans to promote maximal functional efficiency of patients.
Responsibilities
- Plan, implement, and evaluate PT intervention to assign in and outpatients upon consultation with a physician.
- Treat patients of all ages, from neonates through geriatrics, referred to the Physical Therapy Department at Grady and Crestview.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Develop and maintain accurate patient records and reports.
Qualifications
- Master's Degree from an Occupational Therapy program that is accredited by the NBOTC or the American Occupational Therapy Association and licensed or eligible for licensure in the State of Georgia required.
- Minimum of three (3) years of clinical experience required.
- Prefer at least one year in a teaching hospital preferred.
- Area of clinical expertise must be clearly defined through either additional certification or professional experience required.
- AHA BLS Certification Required.
Work Environment
As a Physical Therapist at Grady Health System, you will work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. You will be required to work four shifts per quarter, with hours based on the needs of the unit(s) and not guaranteed. You must be flexible with regard to floating to other areas within the department as needed.
Weekend and Holiday Requirements
You will be required to work one (1) weekend shift per month and two (2) holidays per year: one major (Thanksgiving, Christmas or New Year's) and one minor (Memorial Day, Juneteenth, July 4th , Labor Day or Martin Luther King Day).
