The Server Shift Leader is a key member of our restaurant team, responsible for overseeing the daily shift operation of our servers. This role requires strong leadership and communication skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Shift Management: Ensure the smooth operation of the server shift, including managing staff, monitoring sales, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
- Staff Development: Participate in the training and development of new and current staff members, including servers, cashiers, and deli staff.
- Communication: Regularly communicate with the Restaurant General Manager and/or Assistant Restaurant Manager to discuss customer and employee requests, and stay informed of any changes in operating procedures.
- Quality Control: Ensure that all prepared food products meet established specifications and standards, and that food is delivered and expedited promptly.
- Labor Management: Ensure the minimum level of labor is used to perform the required level of production, and complete required daily reports to ensure accurate ordering and stocking of food products.
- Customer Service: Maintain a friendly and courteous demeanor, ensuring excellent customer and employee relations, and adhering to the established dress code.
- Teamwork: Work collaboratively with other dinner managers to achieve goals and maintain a clean, safe work environment.
Requirements:
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
- Experience: Two (2) years verifiable related employment experience in a restaurant, with supervisory experience preferred.
- Skills: Verifiable experience in implementing and maintaining food production operational standards, working knowledge of computers, and ability to work in a Windows environment with various software programs.
- Certifications: Valid state driver's license required.
