As an Adjunct Faculty member in Radiologic Technology, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of healthcare professionals. Your expertise will not only enhance the learning experience of students but also contribute to the overall mission of providing quality education in the healthcare sector.

Your Responsibilities Include:

  • Delivering comprehensive instruction in both classroom and clinical settings, adhering to the established course syllabus and employing effective teaching strategies.
  • Creating detailed lesson plans, providing guidance and support to students, and maintaining accurate records of attendance and grades.
  • Staying updated with advancements in the field of Radiologic Technology.
  • Engaging in faculty meetings and participating in professional development activities, including two in-service training sessions each year.
  • Contributing to college events such as faculty meetings, student activities, graduation ceremonies, and open houses.
  • Fostering student success through high-quality instruction that promotes achievement of course objectives and prepares students for entry-level roles in healthcare.

Your Qualifications Include:

  • A minimum of three (3) years of professional experience in Radiologic Technology or a closely related field, with at least two (2) years of full-time clinical experience in diagnostic radiography.
  • At least one (1) year of teaching experience in relevant subject areas or demonstrated training in instructional methodologies from a recognized educational program.

Educational Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • Current certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Radiography.
  • Valid CRT permit (State of California certification).
  • Current CPR certification.
