Your Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Providing engaging class and clinical instruction aligned with an established course syllabus, utilizing effective teaching strategies.
  • Creating detailed lesson plans, offering guidance and support to students, and maintaining accurate records of attendance and grades.
  • Staying updated with advancements in the field of radiologic technology.
  • Contributing to faculty meetings and participating in professional development activities, including two in-service training sessions each year.
  • Engaging in college-wide events such as faculty meetings, student activities, graduation ceremonies, open houses, and advisory board meetings.
  • Fostering student success through high-quality instruction that promotes achievement of course objectives and prepares students for entry-level roles in healthcare.

Your Qualifications Should Include:

  • A minimum of three years of professional experience in radiologic technology or a closely related field, with at least two years of full-time clinical experience in diagnostic radiography.
  • At least one year of teaching experience in relevant subject areas or evidence of training in instructional methods from a recognized educational program.

Educational Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • Current certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Radiography.
  • Valid CRT permit (State of California certification).
  • Current CPR certification.
