Position Overview

Join the RadNet Radiology team as a Patient Advocate.

This role acts as a primary point of contact for patients, ensuring a welcoming and professional environment for all visitors, including patients, families, healthcare providers, and vendors. The Patient Advocate is dedicated to addressing patient concerns and supporting their rights and interests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage all activities within the waiting area, including the greeter desk.
  • Provide guidance and support to Patient Service Representatives (PSRs) alongside the team lead or manager.
  • Communicate any issues at the front desk to the front desk manager promptly.
  • Utilize a portable ThinkPad for scheduling, registration, and system access.
  • Act as the main contact for patient feedback, complaints, and compliments.
  • Collaborate with management to investigate patient feedback effectively.
  • Facilitate communication between the front desk and technologists regarding any delays.
  • Assist management in enhancing office workflows from the patient's perspective.
  • Serve as an advocate for patients, ensuring their needs are prioritized.
  • Conduct follow-ups in collaboration with management.
  • Maintain a spreadsheet of patient feedback to identify best practices and areas needing improvement.
