Key Responsibilities
  • Provide professional customer service and support to clients, employees, visitors, and guests
  • Maintain a visible presence in the facility and monitor the environment for suspicious and unsafe activity
  • Responsible for becoming familiar with incoming and outgoing traffic, clients, tenants, visitors, and guests
  • Greet clients, visitors, staff, tenants, and guests in a professional manner
  • Answer phones in a professional manner and permit authorized persons to enter property
  • Know facility policies and procedures and enforce them within the limits of the position
  • Perform required patrols of designated areas on foot or in vehicle
  • Observe departing personnel to protect against theft of company property
  • Follow established emergency action planning and procedures
  • Monitor alarms and systems
  • Prepare reports on accidents, incidents, and suspicious activities
Requirements
  • Active SORA certification
  • Reliable means of communication and transportation
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills and neat and professional appearance
  • Ability to write routine correspondence, including log entries and incident reporting
  • Previous contract security, law enforcement, military, or customer service experience
