Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Medical Credentialing Professional to join our team at Temple Health. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and submitting credentialing applications and supporting documentation for medical staff and advanced practice providers.

About the Role

This Physician Staffing Specialist position requires strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with practitioners, their employers, and office staff to facilitate the credentialing process.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Credentialing Applications: Prepare and submit credentialing applications and supporting documentation in accordance with regulatory standards and guidelines.
  • Database Integrity: Maintain the integrity of provider databases and ensure accurate and timely updates.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with practitioners, their employers, and office staff to ensure seamless credentialing processes.
  • FPPE/OPPE Functions: Support FPPE/OPPE functions, including assurance of timely evaluation and collection of data.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent (Required)
  • Preferred Education: Associates Degree (Preferred)
  • Experience: 2 Years experience in physician credentialing in a healthcare environment (Required)
  • Software Knowledge: General Experience and knowledge of physician credentialing software (Required)
  • Regulatory Knowledge: General Experience and knowledge of Joint Commission standards, PA Department of Health regulations, and PA State Board of Medicine licensure requirements (Required)
Compensation and Benefits

The estimated salary for this position is $65,000 - $85,000 per year, reflecting the value we place on our team members' expertise and dedication.
