Job Overview

The Credentialing Specialist role is a critical position within our healthcare organization, requiring a detail-oriented and organized individual to ensure accurate and timely completion of credentialing tasks.

About the Position

You will work closely with our interdisciplinary teams to manage the credentialing process, including preparation of application materials, verification of credentials, and maintenance of provider databases. Your strong analytical and problem-solving skills will enable you to effectively identify and resolve issues related to credentialing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and review credentialing applications and supporting documentation
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date provider databases
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to facilitate credentialing process
  • Analyze and resolve credentialing-related issues
Requirements and Qualifications

To excel in this role, you will need:

  • 2 years of experience in physician credentialing in a healthcare environment
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of Joint Commission standards and regulatory requirements
Compensation and Benefits

The estimated annual salary for this position is $65,000 - $85,000, depending on experience. In addition, you will receive a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, retirement savings plan, and paid time off.
