About the Role:

Boulder Post Acute is seeking a skilled and compassionate Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our dynamic team. As a COTA, you will play a vital role in helping our patients achieve their goals and live strong, healthy lives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Staff Occupational Therapist with patient-related activities and direct patient care.
  • Record daily treatment notes and weekly progress notes as required.
  • Communicate with supervisors and other health team members regarding patient progress and plans.
  • Assist the nursing department with training Restorative Aides.
  • Instruct patients' families or nursing staff in maintenance programs and caregiver training for discharge preparation.
  • Help with cleaning and maintaining the treatment area and report any equipment issues.

Requirements:

  • Must be currently registered/licensed in the applicable state and maintain an active license in good standing.
  • Graduate of an accredited 2-year college-level program approved by the American Occupational Therapy Association.
  • CPR certification upon hire or obtain it during orientation and keep it current throughout employment.
