**Job Description**

We are seeking a highly skilled Adaptive Threat Investigator to join our team at Bank of America. As an Adaptive Threat Investigator, you will play a critical role in identifying and mitigating high-risk vulnerabilities across our global technology environment.

In this position, you will lead and participate in advanced technical assessments that leverage red teaming, penetration testing, and vulnerability assessment tools and techniques to identify hi-risk vulnerabilities across a variety of technologies. You will also coordinate with senior leadership on development projects, share your knowledge and experience by mentoring junior engineers, and assist the monitoring and response functions so those functions can practice and improve their capability to respond and recover against a realistic threat actor.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct research to identify vulnerabilities and weaknesses in our technology environment
  • Develop and implement mitigation strategies to reduce risk
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective cybersecurity controls

Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional offensive security experience
  • Ability to think critically and creatively to identify and mitigate complex threats
  • Proficiency with common tools associated with red teaming, penetration testing, and vulnerability assessments (Metasploit, Burp Suite, Cobalt Strike, Kali, etc.)

Salary Range

The salary range for this position is $140,000 - $200,000 per year based on experience and qualifications. Additionally, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.
