">Job Description
">As a Corporate Security Investigator at Brightspeed, you will be responsible for developing and leading programs and processes related to the identification, assessment, and mitigation of threats to our sites, property, and employees.
">You will ensure cost-effective operations by identifying and preventing damages to our property, including disruptions to our network and operations, and working to recoup reimbursement from third parties.
">Additionally, you will help ensure the physical security of our personnel and customers due to workplace violence or third-party threats.
">Responsibilities

- Investigate workplace violence, off-duty misconduct, and theft, vandalism, and property damage incidents.">
- Ensure our Threat Assessment program and processes align with corporate objectives.">
- Collaborate with internal business partners to identify and ensure appropriate management plans for responding to incidents.">
- Direct and manage the program and processes for the intake, triage, and case assignment of workplace safety, security, violence, and HR incidents.">
- Develop processes for coordinating with local, state, and federal law enforcement agencies in support of investigations and emergent critical events.">
- Facilitate and develop threat assessment reports to stakeholders and leadership; analyze investigations, metrics, and other relevant data to develop recommended mitigation measures.">
- Develop the framework to report and analyze security threats to Field Operations personnel and implement the appropriate response actions to ensure security of personnel.">
- Develop Threat Assessment training.">
- Support the development of Safety, Business Continuity, and Disaster Recovery plans.">
Qualifications
">To be successful in this role, you will need:

- A Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice, Intelligence, Security Management, or equivalent experience in a related field.">
- 5 years of prior law enforcement or investigative experience.">
- Formal interview and investigative training, or equivalent experience.">
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of leadership.">
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced corporate environment.">
- Knowledge of industry-standard investigative best practices and technology.">
- Travel as required.">
