Job Summary:

We are seeking a qualified Registered Nurse to join our Texas Health Plano team in the GI Lab department. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and working collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team to achieve excellent patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct patient care and coordinate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless care delivery
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to identify and address patient safety concerns
  • Participate in unit-based council and engage in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and satisfaction

Requirements:

  • Nursing Diploma or Associate's Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred
  • One year experience as a Registered Nurse or completion of a RN residency program required
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification within 90 days of hire
  • Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) training within 90 days of hire
