Key Responsibilities:- Accurately receive and accession specimens into the LIMS system
- Unpack and route specimens to various staging areas
- Prepare specimens for testing, including centrifugation and labeling
- Organize work by matching computer orders with specimen labeling and sorting
- Participate in safety training sessions and maintain a safe working environment
- Identify and accurately label specimens for distribution to testing areas
- Perform clerical and administrative duties as needed
- Organize and maintain lab specimen storage and inventory
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 1-2 years of experience in data entry
- Medical background or experience with laboratory testing terminology
- Ability to work productively and independently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong computer skills and ability to work within a Windows environment
