We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Cardiac Cath Lab Technician PRN to assist with diagnostic and therapeutic invasive cardiology patient procedures in the catheterization labs under the general supervision of the Cath Lab Supervisor and the CV Services Director.

Responsibilities:- Assist with diagnostic and therapeutic invasive cardiology patient procedures in the catheterization labs.
- Demonstrate knowledge of the principles of radiographic imaging, patient physiologic monitoring, and cardiac arrhythmias recognition.
- Comply with principles of sterile technique.
- Collect and assemble data for database, outcome analysis, and performance improvement.
- Participate in the on-call rotation and respond within 30 minutes to the Cath Lab when on call.
- Graduate of an accredited Radiology Technologist program or Invasive Cardiovascular Technology program preferred.
- ARRT (RT) or ARRT CI/CV/VI or Registered Cardiovascular Specialist (RCIS) required within 12 months of hire.
- BLS required. ACLS required within 6 months of hire.
- Minimum of 1 year experience in Cardiac Cath Lab tech role.
- On Call Required and must have the ability to report to LSMC within 30 minutes of call back.
