Job Title: Cardiac Cath Lab Technician

HCA MidAmerica Health is seeking a skilled Cardiac Cath Lab Technician to join our team at Lee's Summit Medical Center. As a key member of our cardiovascular team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our hospital.

Job Summary:

The Cardiac Cath Lab Technician will assist with diagnostic and therapeutic invasive cardiology patient procedures in the catheterization labs. This role requires a strong understanding of radiographic imaging, patient physiologic monitoring, and cardiac arrhythmias recognition. The successful candidate will be responsible for collecting and assembling data for database, outcome analysis, and performance improvement.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist with diagnostic and therapeutic invasive cardiology patient procedures in the catheterization labs.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of radiographic imaging, patient physiologic monitoring, and cardiac arrhythmias recognition.
  • Collect and assemble data for database, outcome analysis, and performance improvement.
  • Participate in the on-call rotation and respond within 30 minutes to the Cath Lab when on call.
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited Radiology Technologist program or Invasive Cardiovascular Technology program.
  • ARRT (RT) (R) or ARRT CI/CV/VI or Registered Cardiovascular Specialist (RCIS) required within 12 months of hire.
  • BLS required within 6 months of hire.
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in Cardiac Cath Lab tech role.
  • On Call Required and must have the ability to report to LSMC within 30 minutes of call back.
