Position: Cloud Identity and Access Management Specialist
Location: Onsite Project
Duration: Long-term Contract
Client: Government Agency

Role Overview:

The selected candidate will be responsible for a range of tasks including but not limited to:

  • Engaging with stakeholders to gather business requirements for secure remote access solutions.
  • Designing the architecture and components of a robust VPN solution.
  • Defining strategies for server placement, load balancing, and redundancy.
  • Configuring and setting up necessary VPN infrastructure.
  • Implementing Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) for secure communications.
  • Establishing VPN profiles and policies tailored for various user groups.
  • Implementing strong authentication measures, including multi-factor authentication (MFA).
  • Ensuring adherence to security protocols and encryption standards.
  • Monitoring and addressing potential security vulnerabilities.
  • Documenting the entire VPN architecture and configuration settings.
  • Creating user guides and training materials for both employees and IT personnel.
  • Conducting training sessions to assist users in connecting to the VPN.
  • Architecting and executing a comprehensive B2C strategy that encompasses all application dependencies.
Required Qualifications:
  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience in Active Directory Administration.
  • Five (5) years of experience in Cloud Administration.
  • Deep understanding of Azure core services and functionalities.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with PowerShell scripting.
  • Familiarity with DevOps principles and Software Development Life Cycle.
  • Strong knowledge of virtual networking and security protocols.
  • Expertise in Cost Management and Optimization.
Education/Certifications:
  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert.
  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate.

The consultant will also be responsible for:

  • Identifying, designing, and maintaining a secure identity and access management solution.
  • Resolving and documenting technical operational issues related to enterprise server and Active Directory environments.
  • Maintaining the lifecycle of enterprise server operating systems.
  • Implementing enhancements and automations to the Active Directory domain.
  • Reviewing and recommending improvements for Active Directory processes and Group Policies.
  • Providing knowledge transfer to both technical and non-technical staff as needed.
  • Ensuring the availability and continuity of Windows servers and domain.
  • Adhering to all defined standards and procedures.
  • Completing all required training and acknowledgment courses.
  • Performing other related duties as required.
