Electrical Systems Designer

At REV Group, we're passionate about building innovative and reliable vehicles that our customers can depend on. As an Electrical Technician, you'll play a crucial role in designing, developing, and testing electrical equipment, components, or systems.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist with designing, developing, executing, and evaluating fitness-for-use testing, product specifications, and process validation plans for complex electrical products and/or components.
- Use CAD or CAE software to develop structural designs, model new designs, and produce detailed engineering drawings.
- Verify designs through calculations and analytical techniques.
- Understand manufacturing processes with an emphasis on motorized RV products.
- Fulfill customer requirements, considering design rules and interface points.
- Define test requirements and interpret test results to validate designs.
- Identify problems, root causes, and define resolutions, including documentation.
- Understand and apply lean principles to manufacturing and business processes.
- Execute engineering changes through established processes and documentation.
- Commit to excellence and high standards.
- Provide support for the service department as needed.
- Work with suppliers to obtain testing and certification documents.
- Skills in computer simulation, cost estimation, design optimization, design review, engineering analysis, and design.
- Knowledge of manufacturing industry and vocational standards.
- CAD and CAE software experience.
- Problem-solving techniques, such as 5 why and root cause analysis.
- Statistical techniques and data analysis.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong work ethic, motivation, organization, and self-discipline.
- Versatility, flexibility, and willingness to work with changing priorities.

- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent education/experience required.
- Typically requires 0-2 years of related experience.
