Key Responsibilities
  1. Provide technical expertise and guidance in the testing, troubleshooting, and repair of avionics and electronic systems on aircraft.
  2. Lead and train personnel in the installation and functional testing of electrical and avionics components and systems.
  3. Ensure quality and efficiency of all installations, troubleshoot and teach troubleshooting processes, and provide timely and quality repairs of malfunctioning systems.
  4. Oversee the performance and compliance with engineering changes and modifications as required.
  5. Set up and operate necessary test equipment, conduct functional and operational tests to evaluate performance and reliability, and maintain daily logs and other paperwork.
  6. Enforce company safety regulations, FOD program, tool control program, 5-S program, and adapt to sudden schedule changes.
  7. Coordinate with other disciplines concerning projects and perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  1. Preferred proficiency in the operation and troubleshooting of other aircraft systems or disciplines other than avionics, such as hydraulics, landing gear, flight controls, environmental controls, or structural installations and repairs.
  2. APU run qualification and engine run qualification preferred.
  3. Ability to read and interpret basic blueprints and schematic diagrams.
  4. Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
