Your Responsibilities

  • Deliver comprehensive speech and language therapy services to residents in accordance with established protocols and best practices.
  • Conduct thorough assessments to identify individual needs and develop personalized treatment plans.
  • Implement evidence-based interventions to address a range of communication disorders, including articulation, fluency, voice, and cognitive-communication challenges.
  • Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians, nurses, and other therapists, to ensure coordinated care.
  • Document patient progress accurately and maintain detailed records.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited university.
  • 2 years of experience providing speech therapy services, preferably in a long-term care setting.
  • Current and valid Texas license or compact license to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
  • Strong clinical skills, knowledge of evidence-based practices, and commitment to patient-centered care.
