About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Speech Therapist to join our team at Bayfront Health Port Charlotte. As a key member of our rehabilitation department, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and swallow evaluations to identify areas of need and develop personalized treatment plans.
  • Deliver evidence-based interventions to patients with a range of communication disorders, including those related to stroke, traumatic brain injury, and neurodegenerative diseases.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care coordination and optimal patient outcomes.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance departmental operations and patient satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Current Florida license or eligibility for licensure.
  • American Heart Association BLS for Healthcare Provider (CPR & AED) certification.
  • Preferred experience in adult and geriatric care, including inpatient acute care and outpatient settings.
