Transform the Future of AI Data Cloud

At Snowflake Computing, we're pushing the boundaries of what's possible with real-time data processing. As a key member of our team, you'll play a crucial role in shaping the future of our AI Data Cloud.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Define and own the roadmap for our streaming systems, collaborating with senior architects, PMs, and team leadership.
  • Build and execute a vision for streaming systems that drive business objectives.
  • Ensure operational excellence, meeting commitments to customers on reliability, availability, and performance.
  • Investigate performance and scalability bottlenecks, developing highly available and fault-tolerant systems.
  • Collaborate across Snowflake core infrastructure teams to improve development velocity and capabilities.
  • Mentor team members to deliver high technical excellence.
Requirements and Qualifications:
  • 8+ years of experience designing, building, and supporting cloud infrastructure, distributed systems, or database infrastructure.
  • Strong track record of working with data processing systems and/or platforms.
  • Deep understanding of computer science fundamentals.
  • Experience leading multiple engineers in delivering large, high-impact projects.
  • A growth mindset and excitement about breaking the status quo.
  • Experience with SQL and/or other database technologies is a plus.
  • BS/MS/PhD in Computer Science or related majors, or equivalent experience.
  • Ability to work in a team environment, collaborate well, and mentor junior engineers.
  • Ability to work in our downtown Bellevue office at least two days a week.
