Job SummaryViasat seeks an Associate Manager, International Tax to join our Tax team. This role will be heavily involved in all aspects of US international tax for a global company operating in 80+ countries.
Key Responsibilities- US International Compliance: Support external service provider in preparing required US international tax compliance forms for foreign entities such as Forms 1118, 5471, 8858, and 8865.
- Global Income Tax Provision: Prepare and/or review quarterly and annual international aspects of the global income tax provision (ASC 740), including BEAT, GILTI, Subpart F, FDII, E&P, FTC, and FIN 48.
- Country by Country Reporting: Prepare and/or review Country by Country Report (CbCR) and notifications.
- International Tax Developments: Monitor current international tax developments for potential implications to the company.
- 4+ years of experience: In public accounting with significant US international tax compliance experience.
- Education: Bachelor's in Accounting, Finance or Economics required. Master's in Taxation a plus. Will also consider those with a law degree that have been focused in international tax.
- Skills: Strong working knowledge of US tax laws, regulations, and reporting requirements, with an emphasis on the US International provisions.
- Estimated Salary: $101,500 - $145,500 / annually. For specific work locations within San Jose, the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, the base pay range for this role is $126,500 - $171,500/annually.
