This internship will provide a unique opportunity to apply theoretical knowledge in a real-world setting, supporting and participating in assigned project work. You will have the chance to learn from experienced engineers, managers, and production employees in different departments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Adhere to all plant safety policies and procedures, including wearing required personal protective equipment.
- Apply your education to support and participate in assigned project work, gaining hands-on experience in the cement industry.
- Collaborate with the production team to achieve production goals, working closely with experienced engineers and production employees.
- Complete technical projects to gain a deeper understanding of cement plant operations and the cement industry.
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations, as well as company policies and procedures.
Requirements:
- A college student studying Chemical Engineering, working towards a bachelor's degree.
- A highly organized, efficient, and process improvement mindset and skillset.
- Able and willing to dive in and help solve problems in the field.
- A strong desire to work in a heavy industrial environment.
- Excellent Microsoft Office skills.
- A multi-tasker who can tackle multiple projects at the same time.
- Flexible to work overtime when needed.
