Position Overview: We are expanding our operations with a new distribution center. This innovative facility will enhance our distribution capabilities for finished goods and streamline our supply chain, ultimately improving customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct supervision to assigned personnel, including recruitment, performance evaluations, and development monitoring. Foster a diverse workforce through strong leadership and talent development.
  • Promote a safe and efficient work environment that encourages team growth and compliance with safety and quality standards.
  • Uphold and exemplify the company vision, values, and leadership principles.
  • Oversee the movement of materials and finished goods, ensuring operational efficiency.
  • Ensure the availability and quality of materials to meet production schedules.
  • Manage the receipt of materials and finished goods consistently.
  • Maintain accurate tracking and reporting of operational status.
  • Coordinate the storage and delivery of materials, adhering to established procedures and customer specifications.
  • Supervise timely shipments according to customer requirements, planning resources effectively.
  • Ensure the integrity of databases and records related to material status.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and external vendors at all levels.
  • Maintain safety standards and cleanliness within the department, proactively coaching employees on safety practices.
  • Implement process improvement tools to enhance group efficiency.
  • Lead or assist in special projects related to receiving, shipping, and inventory management.
  • Propose and develop improvements in operational methods and procedures.
  • Possess advanced knowledge of ERP systems.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and effective leadership skills.
  • Proficient in guiding and coaching team members to enhance their skills.
  • Excellent team-building capabilities.
  • Proficient in Excel.
  • Experience in a supervisory role is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Ability to interact with clients and resolve critical project issues.

Work Environment:

Expect to perform repetitive tasks in a warehouse setting, which may involve walking, standing, reaching, and lifting up to 40 lbs regularly. Flexibility in work schedules and the ability to work in varying temperatures is required.
