Position Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Safety and Security Specialist to enhance our team. This role is pivotal in maintaining a secure environment for our guests, staff, and vendors.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Implement and oversee all safety and security protocols within the hotel.
2. Conduct regular patrols of the property to ensure the safety and well-being of all individuals on-site.
3. Engage in protective and preventative measures to address any potential security concerns.

Essential Skills and Qualifications:
- Comprehensive knowledge of safety and security systems and procedures.
- Proficient in conflict resolution and de-escalation techniques.
- Flexibility to work various shifts and adapt to changing schedules.
- Advanced proficiency in utilizing surveillance and communication technologies.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills for effective guest and employee interactions.
- Proven ability to handle sensitive situations and confidential information with discretion.
- Familiarity with managing scenarios involving alcohol, illegal substances, and weapons.
- Strong organizational and time management capabilities.
- Team-oriented mindset with a commitment to compliance with company standards.
- Must obtain CPR and First Aid certification within the first month of employment.
- Valid Florida Security license is required.

Education and Experience:
- High school diploma is mandatory, along with a minimum of three years of experience as a Security Officer in a luxury multi-unit setting, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience with high-profile clientele is advantageous.

This position is classified as non-management and is offered on a full-time basis.
