About the PositionThis is a tenure-track position that will begin in Fall 2024. The successful candidate will be expected to teach classes in both Stillwater and Tulsa, as well as online, and contribute to the department's research and service activities.
About the DepartmentThe MSIS Department at Oklahoma State University is a national leader in Information Assurance and has a unique blend of faculty, students, and staff. We deliver innovative academic programs at the undergraduate, master's, and doctoral levels, produce impactful and high-quality research, and provide outstanding service to the profession, the university, the college, and the community.
Research OpportunitiesThe department has a long tradition of research and instructional programs in the data sciences. Faculty have published top-cited research papers in decision support systems and business intelligence/data analytics history and continue to publish excellent research today.
Teaching ResponsibilitiesThe successful candidate will be expected to teach hands-on data science and data engineering classes, as well as contribute to the development of new courses and programs. Technical versatility is a plus, and the preferred applicant should be engaged in impactful research with aspirations of publishing in top Analytics and MIS journals.
