About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Infection Preventionist to join our team at Belen Meadows Healthcare and Rehab Center in Belen, NM. As a key member of our nursing center, you will be responsible for developing and implementing our Infection Prevention and Control Program (IPCP) to ensure the highest quality of patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement education programs to address identified infection control needs.
  • Support new hire orientation by providing infection prevention and control training.
  • Collaborate with staff to identify and address infection control concerns.
  • Monitor and maintain the IPCP to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing with current registered nurse licensure.
  • Specialized training in infection prevention and control within 90 days of hire.
  • Minimum of three years full-time or equivalent nursing experience.
