About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Infection Preventionist to join our team at Genesis Healthcare Services. As a key member of our nursing center, you will be responsible for developing and implementing effective infection prevention and control strategies to ensure the highest quality of patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement education programs to promote infection prevention and control practices among staff
  • Conduct surveillance and monitoring to identify and manage infection outbreaks
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement policies and procedures for infection prevention and control
  • Provide training and support to staff on infection prevention and control best practices
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing with current registered nurse licensure
  • Minimum of three years full-time or equivalent nursing experience
  • Ability to work flexible hours to meet with employees working evening and night shifts
