Job Overview

The Emory Orthopaedics Department at Grady Hospital is seeking a full-time, board-certified/eligible traumatologist to join its busy service at a Level I Trauma Center.

The successful candidate will participate in the care of trauma and critical care patients and demonstrate a commitment to education.

Responsibilities
  • Manage trauma patient care needs with excellent clinical and interpersonal skills.
  • Provide excellent patient management in the outpatient and inpatient setting and participate in on-call requirements.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to the education of fellows and residents.
Requirements

To be eligible for this position, applicants must have completed an accredited residency training program, Board Certified/Board Eligible Fellowship Trained Orthopaedic Surgeon with sub-specialty fellowship training in Trauma.

Eligibility for licensure in Georgia is also required.

Candidates should be committed to an academic surgical practice, research, and resident teaching.

Preferred Qualifications

Candidates with 4-5 years of experience in a Level I Trauma Center and strong national presence in AO and OTA are preferred.

Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary range of $400,000 - $600,000 per year, depending on experience.
