Position Summary:
We are seeking a committed and proactive Community Engagement Coordinator to enhance our outreach efforts. This role is pivotal in connecting with various stakeholders, including clients, staff, volunteers, donors, and community partners, to promote our mission.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Outreach & Engagement:
    Develop and implement strategies to increase awareness and involvement in our mission among stakeholders. Establish and maintain relationships with community partners, and coordinate outreach events and volunteer recruitment initiatives.
  • Volunteer Management:
    Identify volunteer needs, recruit individuals through various channels, and provide training and support to ensure effective participation. Maintain a database of volunteers and manage recognition opportunities.
  • Advocacy Coordination:
    Support the Child Abuse Prevention Council (CAPC) by organizing meetings and assisting with advocacy campaigns. Engage in community forums to represent Cope Family Center's initiatives.

Qualifications:
Applicants should possess a minimum of two years of experience in marketing, public relations, or community organizing. Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential, along with a passion for community involvement. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and bilingual abilities (Spanish/English) are preferred.
