Maintenance Director

Sika is a global leader in the development and production of systems and products for commercial and residential construction, as well as the marine, automotive, and renewable energy manufacturing industries. We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Manager to lead our maintenance team and drive high performance.

• Lead, coach, mentor, and develop team members to achieve high performance and support development assignments and movement of talent.
• Motivate and challenge team members to drive high performance and commit to hiring the best internally and externally.
• Create an inclusive environment that embraces and derives value from diversity and execute performance and career development discussions.
• Role model and enable development of competencies in others needed to implement Sika's strategy and establish and support a safety culture in which all accidents are preventable.
• Lead by example and hold others to the highest safety standards by ensuring their compliance in all regards and discipline, conflict resolution, consistent enforcement of rules and policies, change management, and engage in effective and clear communication.
• Ensure the use of LEAN manufacturing tools to identify waste and drive continuous improvement.

• Associate/Technical Degree in an industrial maintenance related field or 5 or more years related industrial maintenance experience, including controls systems.
• 3 to 5 years of experience supervising/leading maintenance technicians.
• Ability to effectively function independently and make complicated decisions for maintenance equipment repairs.
• Intermediate to advanced computer skills.
• Ability to effectively handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Ability to control confidential/sensitive information.
• Ability to effectively communicate, both written and verbal communications.
