RH is seeking a highly skilled and experienced culinary professional to fill the role of Sous Chef. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional guest experiences while maintaining the highest standards of food quality and safety.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Assume the role and responsibilities of the Executive Chef when not present, ensuring seamless operations and maintaining the highest standards of quality and service.
  • Conduct regular inspections of hospitality areas to ensure they are clean, safe, and code compliant, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
  • Support strategic research and development initiatives, collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and growth.
  • Recruit and develop top talent for our culinary team, conducting thorough interviews and providing coaching and training to ensure associate success.
  • Lead and motivate kitchen associates, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Maintain accurate records of associate training, service, and food issues, providing valuable insights for leadership and driving business decisions.
  • Embody the RH values of excellence, integrity, and teamwork, delivering exceptional results in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

**Requirements:**

  • Minimum 2+ years of relevant experience in the hospitality industry, with a proven track record of success in a senior culinary role.
  • Current food certifications specific to state laws, with a commitment to ongoing education and training.
  • Advanced knife skills and a passion for culinary excellence.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with all levels of leadership, navigating complex situations with ease and poise.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to quality and safety.
  • Team player with a positive attitude, creative mindset, and strong decision-making abilities.

**Physical Requirements:**

  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, with a commitment to maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Ability to work standing and walking for extended periods, with regular breaks and opportunities for rest and relaxation.
