Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Medical Support Assistant to join our rehabilitation team. The successful candidate will provide administrative support, assist therapists, and maintain a safe and efficient work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support to therapists and therapy assistants
- Assist with safe and efficient patient transportation
- Maintain the cleanliness of treatment areas and equipment
- Report any patient concerns or issues to the Director of Rehabilitation and/or supervising therapist
Requirements:
To be considered for this role, applicants must have prior training in a medical setting and one year's experience in long-term care or a related setting. Additionally, they should possess excellent interpersonal communication skills, strong writing skills for documentation, and knowledge and understanding of therapy practice.
